I ♥ Faces: "Innocent Wonder"

Olivia is, without doubt, a "full-featured" character.  She has been blessed with some useful life skills - like determination and persistence...  sometimes practicing those skills at unwelcome times.

But then there are moments like this, when we must acknowledge that she is also a beautiful young mind...  taking it all in, wondering, growing and learning.

I ♥ Faces: "Smile"

Wow, what a category!  With 2 beautiful, young, happy granddaughters around, smiles are certainly plentiful.

So while we anticipate another 6 inches of snow today... let's go back to our "bathing suits in the bathtub" phase last summer.  What, you don't wash up that way too?   I'm thinking the girls just wanted to keep the party going after a day of boating, beaching & swimming.

Someone's been painting...

WHERE did the summer go?!  The warm air, the greens & blues, the long days...   These days, it looks like SOMEONE (someone with chilly breath, I might add) dumped a new box of paints!  ... Don't think we can blame Olivia for this one ...

Ahhh, the rich imagination of childhood...  Does it matter that her head doesn't clear the top of the steering wheel?  Or that her eyes don't see above the hood?  Regardless, she looks pretty happy sitting in the driver's seat of Daddy's fancy sports car, don't you think?

Just give her a few more years and... oh dear...

At just 2 1 /2 years old, Jenna was such a mommy to her new little sister.
She actually believed that the baby was brought home just for her!

Now... at 7...  Let's just say... Those "mommy" moments are a bit less regular.
But the not-so-little-anymore one still adores her big sister!
